Sunday 2nd April 2017 was indeed a great memory for the family of Hon Rabiu Isiaka Alfa and residents of the Kogi State house of assembly quarter as Hauwa clocks one. The epoch making event was as well planned and promptly managed as can be best imagined. With dignitaries coming from all facets and strata of the state, it had Hon Ahmed Mohammed and Hon Moses Idoko Ododo both whom are members of Kogi State house of assembly among other high ranking guests in attendance.
Highlight of the event was dancing competition among children with very promising talents displayed to the joy of the teeming audience. Ignited by the sterling performance of the innocent children, there was money spree by guests and this added colour to the joy of the future entertainers whose prowesses aren’t denying. With lots of “menu menu”, I must say not been present was a miss of the century.
The celebrant who was put into splendour and the delight of the day was accompanied in her birthday cake cutting in different categories ranging from her age brackets, mothers, family and friends to bring the event to end. If birthdays will always be like this, I wouldn’t mind becoming a child once more. May God answer all the wishes and prayers said for the celebrant even as I pray she grows older than hearts can pray.
An after party dinner held closely within the premises of father to the celebrant and member representing Ankpa 2 constituency, Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa there at the assembly quarter. This time, he was joined by more honorable members, serving Commissioners, friends and political allies.
