A progressives forum, Fancy Network Group (FNG) on Friday led other party supporters in a solidarity walk for in Okaito, Okehi local government area of Kogi state, for the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Joel Oyibo.
Led by the Chairman of Fancy Network Group, Comrade Jimoh Adeku, the massive crowd walked through parts of Okaito, in the Usungwe axis of Okehi LGA.
Adeku told newsmen that the solidarity road walk was to sensitize the people more on the need to vote for the APC gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming election in the state.
The Eika District Association (EDA) President, Hon. Abdulkareem Ajoge, who spoke at the event, gave a piece of fatherly advice and sensitised the people on the need for peace and resolute to delivering the candidate of the APC in a landslide.
He commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for his giant strides in infrastructure development and the recent gesture of free education to the people of the state, adding that he is convinced that Alh Ododo will continue from where he will stop.
The Okaito/Usungwe ward Chairman who also doubles as the Chairman of all ward chairmen in Okehi LGA, Hon. Sadiq Nasiru (Okodo) promised to deliver the ward completely to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Other APC Stakeholders who spoke during the walk were the Okehi Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hajia Idowu Kekere, the former Council Leader of Okehi LGA, Alh. Nasirullahi Ibn Yakub, and Comr. Adams Babangida Jimoh.
In their words, they expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello for the peace, unity and developments he has brought to the state. They emphasized the need for every youth and woman across the districts to go back to their various units and canvas the people to vote for Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman and his running mate, Comr. Joel Oyibo Salifu come November 11th 2023.
Among other notable personalities that joined in the walk also were Hon. Abdulmalik Sunday Hon. King Habib, Hon Adam Tohir, and Comr Adams Babangida Jimoh.
FNG, under the leadership of Comrade Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka (Fancy), has been mobilizing support for Ododo across the state.
