By Yusuf Abubakar.
Senator Atai Aidoko Ali has challenged Igala youths, both at home and the diaspora, on the need to embrace self development rather than deriving pleasure in making quick money through curious adventures.

Aidoko made this known while taking delivery of a book written by an Igala author, Oyigu Onuche Elijah, titled “The Porous Pot” in his office at the National Assembly.
The Federal lawmaker frowned at the situation where people encourage hooliganism and thuggery, rather than  innovations and ideas that will detach the people from the current poverty level and propel them into self sustenance.
He commended the author for his prolific and self assessment prose, saying many igala writers need to be encouraged to toe this line.
He expressed joy at the proliferation of Igala writers, saying not long ago, he attended the book launch of Miss Love Idoko in a well celebrated occasion.
The chairman Senate committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) assured the people of Kogi East of his support to such productive venture.
He commended the writer for a job welldone, promising to patronise his books to encourage the study of literature, English and fiction both at secondary and tertiary levels.
