In a bid to bring education closer to the people, Kogi State College of Education Technical Kabba has opened a study centre in Obajana, Lokoja local government area.
The college made this known in a letter to the Bajana of Obajana, HRH Oba Idowu Isenibi.
Oba Isenibi, who was excited about the development, described the study centre as thoughtful and a step in the right direction, saying it is a thing of joy to the Obajana community.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for demonstrating genuine love for the community and pledged the support of his subjects to the present administration of the New Direction government.
Oba Isenibi also thanked the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, Provost of the College, Mrs. Victoria Jagboro as well as her management team for locating the centre in the community.
Meanwhile, admission for prospective candidates is currently ongoing for the 2021/2022 academic session.
