Promising Kogi-born Adams Musa-Zekeri, an environmental sustainability practitioner, was among the young leaders who addressed this year’s World Youth Forum in Egypt.
Musa-Zekeri speech centered on the future of climate change.
The World Youth Forum was the largest gathering of youths making impact in their various fields across the globe. The event which held at the National Congress Centre between 5th and 10th November 2017 addressed issues relating to creativity, development and peace.
The forum which was officially declared opened by the Egypt president, AbdelFattah al Sisi, had in attendance over 150 top global leaders, political figures and over 3200 youths from various countries of the world. Nigeria was present with an audacious presence of promising Nigerian youths.
Also in attendance was the Nigerian Minister for Youth and Sport, Solomon Dalung who also spoke during the African Parliament session.
The Egyptian president buttressed the essence of recognizing the roles of youth in nation building, education reforms, sustainable development, resistance against extremism in all forms and peace for the world.
