- Takes Esemikose’s message of continuity to final communities
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for Ijumu 1 State Constituency has rounded off its extensive community tour and grassroots presentation of the party’s standard-bearer, Hon. Femi Esemikose, with a final mobilisation drive across key communities in the constituency.
The concluding phase of the tour took the campaign team to Ayetoro Gbede, Iluhagba, Iyah Gbede, Iluafon Gbede and Ayegunle Gbede, where the APC delegation engaged residents, community leaders, party faithful and grassroots stakeholders in a renewed push for support for Esemikose.
The exercise, which has emerged as a strategic grassroots engagement initiative, is aimed at strengthening the party’s presence at the ward and community levels while presenting its candidate directly to the electorate ahead of the forthcoming election.
The campaign council is chaired by its Director-General, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, OJN, whose leadership has been central to the coordination of the constituency-wide mobilisation and reconciliation effort.
Nihi was accompanied by a formidable team of respected APC stakeholders and grassroots influencers, including Hon. Sikuru Hamza, Hon. Amodu Ibikunle Abubakar and Hon. Kelvin Oluseyi Eleta, alongside government appointees, party leaders and loyalists.
The tour followed the team’s engagements on Monday with Okoro-Gbede, Araromi Gbede, Odokoro Gbede, Agrigbon and Ayeh Gbede communities, completing a broad-based outreach across the constituency.
Across the communities, the APC team reiterated its commitment to grassroots representation, responsive leadership, continuity and people-oriented development, while urging voters to consolidate the gains of the party through their support for Esemikose.
The successful completion of the tour is being viewed within APC circles as another significant step in building a formidable electoral structure for Ijumu 1, with the campaign council signalling its readiness to translate the growing grassroots momentum into votes at the polls.
With the community tour concluded, the APC Ijumu 1 campaign now moves into the next phase—consolidating its grassroots network, deepening voter engagement and converting mobilisation into electoral victory.
