Kogi Agricultural Development Project (ADP) has deployed an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to help extension workers easily capture farmer’s data and collaborate across the state.

While working with over 2000 N-agro volunteers the need to use technology to manage information became imperative. The ERP is accessed using the link staff.kogiadp.org.

The Managing Director, Oyisi Okatahi, while making a statement in Lokoja stated that this was the final phase in automating the organization.

The website, www.kogiadp.com, online market, www.kogiadp.org, farmer’s database,  farmers.kogiadp.com and ICT training centre were all part of the efforts to ensure that technology is optimized, especially when resources are scarce.

He stated that technology makes things faster, easier, and cheaper. He mentioned that staff are able to work remotely from any part of the State once they have internet connectivity.

He commended the Government of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello for its support, especially during the unfortunate incidence where several Kogi ADP staff where involved in a motor accident. The Hon Commissioner of Agriculture, Hon Kehinde Oloruntoba , Secretary to State Government Dr (Mrs) Folashade Ayoade and State Coordinator Fadama III, Mr Paul Ogunmola provided overwhelming support to the injured and families of the deceased.
