Kogi, 9 Others Tango at Kebbi Sallah Beach Soccer Tourney

The Confluence Beach soccer team will represent Kogi state at the 2017 National Sallah Beach Soccer championship scheduled to hold in Kebbi.
The four-day event organised by Kebbi Beach soccer Association of Nigeria with support of its state government will be staged between June 26th – 30th in Birin Kebbi.
The team Kogi, who emerged champions at the Kada 2016 in Kaduna are  expected to depart Lokoja where they are currently holding preparatory training on the 24th of June 2017.
The Confluence boys will be aiming for their fourth honours after triumphant feats at the 2013 CBN National championship in Abuja and 2016 Kada Championship in Kaduna and Vice champions spot at the international Keta Cup in Ghana last year.
Ahead of their trip, team’s head coach Adamu Ejo seized the opportunity to thanked the state Governor Yahaya Bello and his Chief of Staff for their support all the time and equally appreciate the ministry of Sports and Youth development under the leadership of Comrade Arome Adoji for it usual cooperation.
Ten states are expected to take part in the national showpiece including Kogi alongside Kwara, Yola, Abuja, Anambra, Lagos, Sokoto, Kebbi, Abia and Kaduna.
