It will be strange to me if Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello does not face so much resistance from some set of people who have benefited from deep corruption during the 13 years of previous administrations.
None of these people will open their eyes and allow GYB deliver good governance as divinely ordained. They will do everything to frustrate his government. They will do all within their powers to portray the State in bad light. They will instigate those they have placed in positions before now to work against the current administration.We are aware of these and that is why we are not moved by the empty noises all around .
Who are these people?
1. Those who had a system where they make millions of Naira every month from Ghost Workers they have inserted their names in so many Ministries, departments and agencies.
2. Those who manage different schools that existed only in names and on Kogi State Government payroll where funds allocated to these schools entered their pockets monthly.
3. Those who collected money to execute contracts but did not execute the job. They saw the cash as their share of the slush fund from previous administrations.
4. Those who feel they ought to have an Elephant share from this current administration but because GYB has made it clear that the entity of Kogi State Resources will be used for Kogites, such people are mad that things are not going the way they thought.
One thing is sure and that is when you know you are doing the right thing, no matter the resistance you will not give up especially when you are determined to lay solid foundation for sustainable development. Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is a man passionate about the transformation of Kogi State .
We must know that to undo 13 years of mess by previous administration, we must be ready to take serious heat from those who were beneficiaries of such ugly system. We will not give up, we will not be cowed into negotiating with anyone for his or her selfish interest. We will work for all Kogites
Don’t forget, we are just 1 year 5 months. What we have achieved within this period is far beyond imagination. Don’t join those who are so much in a rush to condemn the government. Just wait and see how Kogi State will be transformed when the New Direction Administration of GYB is 2 years old. Wait and see how civil servants will appreciate that screening exercise was for their interest.
Kogi State is rising fast. Nigeria got her name from this State and the New Direction administration is taking Kogi State back to her rightful place of glory in Nigeria.
