Independence Day: PDP Youth Campaign Council Urge Kogites to Take Charge of Their Destiny

The PDP Youth Campaign Council, Kogi State, has congratulated Nigerians, particularly Kogites, on the 63rd independence anniversary o the nation.

The campaign council charged the people of Kogi state to take their destiny into their own hands.

The Director General of the council, Dr. MD Eseyin gave the charge delivering his 63rd Independence Day anniversary address in Lokoja, the state capital, on Sunday.

He noted that the candidature of Senator Dino Melaye has presented the citizens of Kogi State a rare opportunity to right the wrongs of the present administration, rather than compensating them with another term in office if truly the people want to be liberated.

Chief Eseyin appealed to Kogites to vote and support the candidature of Sen. Dino Melaye come November 11th, noting that he is the only governorship candidate who has overtime stood against the injustice meted on civil servants in the state.

The Director Media and Publication of the Council, Hon Mohammed Kabir, also used the opportunity to pray for the peace and progress of the nation, Nigeria and appealed to the Federal Government and relevant security agencies to ensure a peaceful election in the state.

He also charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a free, fair and credible election on November 11 in the Kogi State.
