Importation of Military Wares: Group Denies Arrest of Bolu Rotimi

The people of Kogi State have been advised to disregard the rumor making the rounds that the Mr Bolufemi Rotimi has been arrested in connection with the importation of military wares discovered at the Nnmadi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja , on March 8.
A political outfit, Kogi Integrity Group ( KIG) which gave the advise in a statement in Lokoja on Tuesday said that  the rumour was unfounded and politically motivated by perceived enemies of the states against Rotimi who is irrevocably committed to the New Direction Agenda of the present administration.
The group said Rotimi, was an astute  businessman was a man of honour and integrity who earned his reputation through the dint of hard work and doggedness.
The group said that the two business outfits, Bolufemi Bolufemi International Limited and Rotshade Global Resources Nigeria Limited have never been involved in the importation of military equipment and hardware.
It said that the companies were into sales of motorcycles, tricycles, power generators, agricultural machines, rice farming and processing, computer sales and service and not importation of any military equipment or hardware as being rumored.
The statement warned the rumour mangers to desist and engage themselves in positive ventures, saying their attempt to cause disaffection within the ranks of supporters of Governor Yahaya Bello will fail woefully.
The group commended Rotimi for being staunch supporter and believer in the administration of Bello, urging him to remain steadfast and be wary of distractions from the camp of opposition.
