Ogah Memorial College and Dickson Memorial College has both made it to the finals of the on-going Idah Secondary Schools Chairman’s Cup in Idah.
Idah Commercial College lost 2:0 to Dickson Memorial College while high-flying Saint Peter College crashed to Ogah Memorial College in the semi-finals which were played on Thursday and Friday respectively.
The tournament which was organised and sponsored by the Chairman of the Idah Local Government Area, Dr Musa Major Abutalib kicked off on Monday.
The opening game which was watched by hundreds including the Dr Musa Major alongside some members of the council saw Government Secondary School lost 0-2 to Idah Commercial College on Monday while Saint Peter College, Idah humiliatingly thrashed Government Technical College on Tuesday in Idah.
The two finalists will be expected to battle for the coveted trophy and show for supremacy when they meet in the final slated for Monday, 31st July, 2013.
We can report that the ongoing Idah organized football competition is the first in 15 years in Idah Local Government Area.
