Leaders of Action Democratic Party (ADP) have unanimously thrown their weight behind the candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Alhaji Isah Ibrahim of the House of Representatives election in Idah Federal constituency.
The stakeholders praised Alhaji Isah Ibrahim for the meeting and commended him for taking the party to the next level in Idah Federal constituency.
They said with his emergence as the preferred candidate, he will have their support and cooperation in the election .
The leaders of the party met at Ejule in Ofu LGA of Kogi State where the idea of the adoption was muted and upheld.
Speaking on the endorsement, the leader of ADP, Dr Sam Abdullahi reaffirmed that the decision had the support of the leaders in Idah federal constituency in particular and the entire leadership of the party in general at the meeting.
He said the party organs will abide by the decision taken by the stakeholders in the overall interest of the party and the entire people of Idah Federal constituency.
Also reacting, Mr Ochogu Samuel hailed the decision, maintaining that “wherever Dr Sam Abdullahi goes, we will follow him.”
The local government coordinators of the party in Idah Federal constituency were in solidarity with the endorsement of behind the Dr Sam Abdullahi.
They said that the decision of the party stakeholders remained binding on them, since they were part of the decision.
They added that his adoption was a reward for loyalty, dedication, commitment and competence.
