The Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPNYF) has commended the governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada for creating room for youth in governance as it was manifested by the recent appointment of Alhaji Haliru Alih Abdul has Special Adviser on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
PDPNYF is being championed by a Kogi-born political youth activist, Mr Usman Okai Austin.
“PDPNYF view this appointment as a honour done to the youths. PDPNYF also reaffirm her commitment to and unalloyed support to the PDP-led government at all levels and we also advise Haliru to justify the confidence reposed on him by Gov Wada”, Austin said.
“We call on Hon. Haliru to justify his appointment and not to let Kogi and Nigerians youth down. We wish him best of luck and demanded of him to be loyal and dedicated to his core mandate. PDPNYF also use this opportunity to advise Kogi youth to see governance as a collective activity, for any meaningful success there must be an obedient leader and followers.
