Ahead of the November 11 governorship election, the leadership of Kogi West Youth Movement for Ododo-Salifu has announced the appointment of the State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, as its patron.

The youth movement is committed to galvanizing support for the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Joel Salifu.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the movement, Prince Hamza Bola Sanusi, said the choice of Fanwo as patron and leader of the group was made after a clinical appraisal and general assessment of political gladiators from Kogi West senatorial district.

“We were inspired by Fanwo’s loyalty to the cause of the party in the state, and his demonstrated love for the candidacy of the party.

“Hon Kingsley Fanwo, undoubtedly the staunchest loyalist of our super dynamic governor, has demonstrated a rare feat in the loyalty and he believe in the spirit of a united APC family. His political and developmental trajectory in the state cannot be forgotten,” he said.

Prince Sanusi hailed Fanwo’s courage and pledged the movement’s unflinching loyalty and committed to the ruling party and all it represents.
