Former Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr Sam Uhuotu, at the weekend, disclosed that majority of Ebira people of Kogi Central will vote for Senator Dino Melaye and his running-mate, Hajia Habibat Mohammed Deen, for equity, fairness and justice.
Uhuotu, who spoke during an interface between the leaders of Kogi Central and the Governor of Osun State, who is the Chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council on Kogi State, Governor Ademola Adeleke, said the people of Kogi Central “will work to win this election for our party.”
“There is nothing like Ebira Agenda in the November 11 election and that is why no member of the PDP from Kogi Central picked the governorship nomination form.
“We in the Kogi Central believe that power should rotate to the (Kogi) west and our people have shown courage in delivering on this important mission.
“For fairness, equity and justice, majority of the people in the central will vote for our candidates in the PDP,” Uhuotu further said.
The meeting is sequel to similar engagements with stakeholders from the East and Western senatorial districts of the state by Governor Adeleke.
