Gov. Bello Condemns Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack, Tasks Security Agencies to Brace Up

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has condemned Monday attack on Abuja-Kaduna train by suspected bandits describing it as barbaric, inhuman and callous.

The governor in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, expressed shock and pains over the unfortunate incident which led to loss of some innocent Nigerians while others sustained injuries.

Bello while commiserating with victims of the attack, called on the security forces to redouble their efforts to dislodge the bandits and criminal elements terrorising people on that axis and other parts of the country.

He said the new phenomenon of the terrorists shifting their attacks to airport and train station is a wake up call for the security agencies to up game in their strategies in combating the criminal elements who are becoming daring by the day.

The governor, however, expressed confidence in the capacity of the Nigerian armed forces and other sister security agencies in defeating the evil forces, he urged them not to rest on their oars until the battle is won.
