Clubfoot is one of the most common birth defects.
The heels and toes turn inward to the extent that it looks like the feet are upside down.
Clubfoot affects approximately one in every 500-1000 new born, making it one of the most common birth defect.
Clubfoot has a greater chance of being corrected if treatment is initiated early in life because of the favorable fibro elastic properties of the ligaments, capsules and tendons.
The child undergoes 4-8 weeks of weekly castings and then tenotomy after which a brace is given to the child and would be followed up on management.
