A printing company, Free Decision Resources Nigeria Limited has announced plans to produce a compendium of achievers in the western senatorial district of Kogi State.
Director of project of the publication, Austine Alaba Medaiyedu, told our reporter that nomination letters has been sent to deserving personalities for participation in the compendium. He said the much anticipated publication will be launched in October this year.
Medaiyedu explained that the publication titled ‘Kogi West Role Models’ will serve as a reference point for the younger generations and help them emulate virtues of hard work and honesty that helped the role model attain great heights in life.
“The publication is a biographical compendium of distinguished personalities from Kogi West senatorial district who has recorded success in their chosen career. It is devoid of political and religious undertone.
“We want to produce a document that will discouraged our youths from engaging in political thuggery, internet frauds, cultism, gambling and other social vices that are inimical to the growth and development of a peaceful society.
“Testimonies about our good deeds should not be reserved for publication in our funeral and burial program. We should enjoy reading the story of our legacies and services to humanity while alive,” he said.
Medaiyedu stated that nominations of achievers for the compendium is free of charge.
