The authorities of the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi State, have expelled three students and withdrawn twenty-six others.

The expulsion and withdrawal, according to the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Omale Sule Sunday, is in line with the academic regulations of the Federal Polytechnic Idah.

According to Sunday, the three expelled students were found guilty of various acts of examination misconducts during the 2019/2020 2nd semester examinations.

He said the academic board’s approval for the withdrawal of the students followed the approvals of the 2019/2020 second semester main/carryover examination result and the poor performance of the affected students in the results.

The breakdown of the list according to departments indicated that, Marketing Department had 7, Architectural Technology Department 1, Public Administration 1, Food Science and Technology 6, while Business Administration and Management Studies has 4.
