Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Saturday, released the sum of 570,000 Naira to the technician handling the rehabilitation of two water facilities in Ayedayo Amuro and has given the technician till Wednesday this week to make the facilities work.
Fanwo made the pledge while he led other leaders of the party for a campaign at the village as a result of complaints by women in the community that they were finding it difficult to access potable water.
A few hours later, the Commissioner released the sum of 570,000 naira for the projects.
The Councilor representing the Ward, Hon. Samuel Obasun in a statement on Sunday, thanked the Commissioner for his gesture. He said the people of the community will remain grateful to the All Progressives Congress leaders for always coming to their aid.
Hon. Samuel Obasun also assured the leaders of the All Progressives Congress that Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo will win massively in the Ward on November 11.
