Fanwo Charges Information Ministry to Comply With TSA Policy

The Commissioner of Information and Communications, Evang. Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo has charged the management of the Ministry he oversees to comply with the requirements and policies of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) holistically.

He gave this charge during the management meeting he held with high ranking Civil Servants and Heads of Departments of the Ministry in Lokoja on Monday.

The Commissioner said the compliance is in the best interest and for the well-being of the entire State, and also to block leakages  in the income and expenditure of the State.

While reiterating strict compliance, Fanwo added that it will enhance the manifestation of the blue print of the ‘Let’s Do More’ promises of Governor Yahaya Bello aimed at the rapid development Kogi State.

“All payment of services to be rendered by parastatals and departments in the Ministry must be paid into the purse of Kogi Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS)”, Fanwo said.

He also promised to interface with the KGIRS administration for easier working relationship and for actualization of their respective targets.
