Engr. Abdulrazaq Orders Renovation of NYSC Lodge in Okene, Donates Borehole

In order to alleviate the sufferings of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the local government, the Administrator of Okene local government area, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has given directives for immediate renovation of the corpers lodge.

He gave the order when he paid a schedule visit to the official residence of the youth corp members in company of their zonal inspector and other top officials of the scheme to ascertain areas of immediate intervention by government.

After being treated to a welcome parade, the Council administrator was conducted round the lodge, and the representatives of the Corp members also spoke on some of their challenges. They eulogised the Council administrator, saying his unique qualities and leadership style had made them lived in Okene Local government peacefully. They described him as a caring father who had always prioritized their welfare and security. They thanked him for promptly paying their monthly stipends and providing the lodge with security details for their safety at all time.

Responding, the humble administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad appreciated the young and promising Nigerian youths serving in his domain for being patient with the government despite some pressing challenges and assured them of his commitment to make them happy and secured.

The Council boss donated over 100 mattresses to them and immediately ordered for the provision of a borehole and two overhead water tanks at the lodge to ease their water problems.

He equally assured them that, plan to renovate the lodge is already in progress and within the next few days, work will commence.

The Council Administrator stayed at the lodge till the contractors supplied all the materials and the processes of provision of portable water to the corp members began. The youth corp members were overwhelmed with joy and ran over themselves to take selfie with the Council Administrator.
