The national coordinator of Nigeria Christian Youths Political Platform (NICHYPP) and Kogi State House of Assembly aspirant seeking to represent Okehi state constituency, Patriot Matthew James Avabee (Mr. Spreading) has charged Muslim faithful to continue to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the nation and the success of the forth coming General Elections.
In a press statement, Patriot Avabee extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria, most especially the good people of Okehi as they celebrate Eid-el- Fitri Sallah festival today.
He said; “as Muslims savour the joy of the occasion, he call on our Muslim brothers and sisters to always be guided by the attributes and lessons from the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) which symbolise peace, love, tolerance and good relationship with our Neighbors. We must put our nation first in all our dealing.
“We must urgently seek for repentance and forgiveness for one another and be prepared to act rightly, especially now that the country is preparing for general elections, so as for us to live in peace and harmony during and after election.
“As youths, we need to be very careful at this time of our common existence not to be involve in what will disorganise our common coexistence.
“We must at all time remember that, peace is the only key to the growth of any society. I wish all the Muslim faithfuls Barka de Sallah, and pray that may the blessings of Allah (SWT) fill our live with happiness and open all the door of success now and always,” he said.
