Senator Ahmed Salau Ogembe representing Kogi Central senatorial district has called on Muslims to pray for Nigeria and congratulates them on this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
He made the statement available through his media aide on Tuesday.
Ogembe urged Muslims to continue to pray for Nigeria as we move close to 2019 general election.
Senator promised to continue to bring home the dividends of democracy to his people and palliative to reduce the hardship his constituents are currently experiencing.
He enjoined Muslims to celebrate responsibly and be security conscious during this period.
Senator Ogembe therefore urged the Muslim faithfuls to show love to the less privileged neighbours and continue to live in peace and harmony with people of other religions.
He said the occasion should not call ‎for celebration alone, but a period of gratitude to Almighty Allah for his mercies, guidance and protection.
Ogembe wished both Moslems and non-moslems a happy celebration and many more returns in good health, riches and equanimity.
