Governorship aspirant and immediate past Chief of Staff to Kogi state Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku, has extended his warmest Easter greetings to the people of his state.

In a statement released to the media, Pharm. Jamiu expressed his hope that the holiday would bring joy, peace, and renewal to all Kogites.

“During this period, we are reminded of the power of hope and the resilience of the human spirit,” Pharm. Asuku said.

“Easter is a time to celebrate new beginnings and to reflect on the blessings we have in our lives.

“While I served as Chief of Staff, I observed that Kogi State under the Governor Yahaya Bello administration was absent of religious strife and that’s a thing to be greatly celebrated.

“During the Lent season that ushered in today’s celebration, you embarked on devotional sacrifices through abstinence and struggled to imbibe virtues that would promote good human relations among our people.

“I urge you all to keep up this virtues so that our dear state will continue to grow in the strength of brotherhood we have cultivated so far.

“May the lessons of Easter continue to promote peace and harmony among the good people of our state.”

Pharm. Asuku concluded his statement by wishing all Christians a happy Easter and a joyful season.
