The Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming November 11th, 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Dr. Omede Idris has congratulated the Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as well as the current House of Representative Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Elder, Leke Abejide on his appointment as the Chairman House Committee on Customs and excise.
In his congratulatory words, Dr Omede Idris stated that “This is a well deserved appointment, going by the antecedents of the law maker, in law making and oversight responsibilities, some of which are leading to the new face of Customs and Excise in the country.
“He is a man of proven competence, capacity and commitment to responsibilities”.
He wished Hon Leke Abejide and his committee members well on this recognition, assignment and God’s guidance.
He further stated that Hon. Leke Abejide, a transformational leader is the kind of leader that Kogi needs and called on people and voters in Kogi state to vote Leke/Omede of ADC in the November 2023 governorship election.
