National President North Central and Abuja Youth Development Association (NAYODA), Comrade Segun Amupitan says whoever concludes that Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi state is one of the worst performing governors under President Bola Tinubu’s one year’s governance is concocting an expression garnished by bias.
Segun Amupitan made this assertion is reaction to statements credited to Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist and lawyer that Gov. Ododo is part of the three worst performing governors under President Tinubu’s one year’s in office.
Segun said if diversity bias is not glorified in the courtyard of justice, Gov. Ododo’s performances within four months will not be criticized and described as worse.
“I disagreed totally with the claims by Deji Adeyanju because, it lacked mathematical and statistical accuracy. And therefore cannot be taking seriously by those who are conversant with the current trends in Kogi state.
“Because Gov. Ododo has not spent one year in office, it is inappropriate to evaluate his four months administration under the same categorisations with some states Governors whom by 29 May will be using one year in office along President Tinubu.
“It is not praise singing that Gov. Ododo started on a trail blazing ground breaking performance that procreate his popularising value ditto humanitarian slant in administrative management.
“The initiative’s on prompt and full percentage payments of salaries to the workers alone make him the most outstanding Governor of Kogi state in the past 12 years.
“Only blackmailers who are want of opinions can condemned present Kogi government but the people residing in the state are applauding the efforts of the governor so far,” Segun said.
Segun stated that it is a baseless and an unacceptable opinion attempting to equate a cutlass with a sword.
He insisted that Ododo commenced his government with indefatigable focus and strategic commitments to mend traceable lacuna disrupting common growth and development of Kogi state.
“Gov. Ododo has performed excellently well beyond questionably doubts. And so, entitled to commendation and motivation to keep him churning out excellent performances,” Segun noted.
