The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has sent congratulatory message to the newly decorated Principal Staff Officer to the Inspector General of Police, CP Jeffrey Idowu Owohunwa over his recent promotion to the enviable rank of Commissioner of Police.

Omoluabi who spoke from Lokoja, Kogi state capital, to newsmen said the news of Owohunwa’s promotion is the most cheering good news the people of Kabba and Okunland have received in recent times adding that the appointment is as befitting as it is motivating.

He said CP Jeffrey Owohunwa is not only a great community builder, but a channel of massive job creation for young people in the area, saying the Commissioner of Police has sufficiently and efficiently leveraged on his office to the greater advantage of his people while doing more than excellent at his point of duty.

“I feel extremely elated, unusually exited and greatly exhilarated to hear of the deserving and meritorious promotion of my dearly beloved elder brother, patriotic kinsman and fine gentleman of the law, CP Jeffrey Idowu Owohunwa. It is indeed a cheering and exciting news, I commend very specially the Nigeria Police force, especially those responsible for promotion, for the consideration of our own brother, just as I congratulate, commend and felicitate with such a hardworking, cerebral, professional and patriotic man for his performance at the point of duty. CP Jeffrey Owohunwa has greatly made us proud, I pray for greater heights, grace for excellence, health exploits and protection against evils,” he said.

Omoluabi said the promotion will definitely redefine internal security management, coordination and performance, given his strategic role and competitive competence in management of the office and his reservoir of experience gathered over the years.
