CP Orders Water Tight Security to Ensure Hitch-Free Christmas, New Year Celebrations in Kogi

Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Idrisu Dauda Dabban, has ordered a watertight security across the state to ensure a hitch-free Christmas and new year’s celebrations.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Aya, in Lokoja on Wednesday, Dabban has charged all the area commanders, tactical and operational commanders, as well as Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) to beef up security in their area of responsibilities and ensure massive deployment of patrol teams.

This, the CP further ordered, should be along the major highways and undercover operations to black spots, flash points and other vulnerable criminal spots to nip in the bud all forms of crimes and criminality across the state and make sure that detection of crimes were prompt to serve as effective deterrent to all criminals.

The Police Commissioner reiterated the command’s level of preparedness, determination and commitment in synergy with other security agencies in ensuring adequate security of life and property in the state.

He urged the good people of the state to always avail the command with correct and useful information on the activities of criminal elements in order to curtail criminality in the state.
