COVID-19: Kogi Enforcement Team Shuts Down Lokoja International Market

Kogi State enforcement team on Corona Virus has shut down the Lokoja International Market.

The enforcement team had a hectic time shutting down commercial activities on Tuesday being market day.

This is coming a day after Governor Yahaya Bello announced measures including restriction of large social gatherings to contain the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

The enforcement team also shut down activities at Kpata market in Lokoja.

The team has been going around the state to make sure that the directive by the governor on social distancing and restriction of large gatherings are strictly adhered to.

The team is expected to visit churches and mosques to enforce compliance with the directive restricting religious gatherings to not more than 50 people within a hall.
