The General Manager of Babaeko Farms, Sheyi Babaeko has admonished widows to remain prayerful and hopeful.
This was made known when Babaeko Farms presented palliate packages to widows in Kakun, Kabba on Friday to ameliorate challenges faced by the COVID-19 pandemic that has hindered people from going out.
Sheyi Babaeko enjoined the widows to adhere to all guidelines required to prevent and manage the spread of the virus owing to the fact that prevention is better than cure.
“With adherence to all medical advice, we will overcome but before then, everyone needs something to eat which is why we have provided these palliatives as food is very important for our survival. That’s why we must take measures to guarantee food security be it now or in the nearest future he posited,” he said.
The Oba of Kakun, his royal highness, Chief Obaromi Sunday thanked the donor for his humanitarian gesture at all times.
“We are thankful to God for Babaeko Farms that has created hundreds of direct and indirect jobs for our people. we pray to God for continuous growth of the farm, and the founder.”
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Babaeko Farms founder, noting that despite not knowing him, they have benefited from his large heart.
