In a season message personally signed by Engr. John Ibrahim Ocheje, he felicitated with the entire people of Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu and Ofu Federal Constituency on the occasion of 2022 Christmas celebration.
He urged them to use the opportunity to rebuild faith and confidence in God for peace, justice and development.
He noted that the life of Jesus Christ whose birth is being celebrated exemplified simplicity, patience and perseverance. Hence, he charged them to always follow the ways and teaching of Jesus Christ even as they wish for a representative with a fear of God.
He stated that his vision and mission for the federal constituency was faced with challenges of injustice and oppression by the powerful few saying that his candidacy of the PDP upheld by the Court of Appeal recently was in the reflection of the spirit of the festive period in the like manner of Jesus Christ triumph amidst temptation and tribulations.
“My mandate as the authentic candidate of the PDP for the constituency ahead of the 2023 general election was a triumph over injustice and oppression. It follows that we have been victorious over injustice just as this Christmas season represents to us,” he expressed.
“I wish to use this occasion of Merry Christmas to once again urge the good people of our constituency to rebuild faith and confidence in God even as you pray for a representative with fear of God in 2023.”
While praying for a peaceful Christmas celebration, he urged the constituents’ people to look forward to supporting his candidacy in an election to the green chamber under the platform of PDP as he hopes for the ultimate victory from the Supreme Court in the coming days.
“I urge you to support me and my party, the People’s Democratic Party in the forthcoming general elections in February 2023 for a productive representation of our constituency,” he concluded.
