The Baale of Amuroland, His Highness Chief Eric Olorunjuwon Fiki, has commended RT Hon. Abiodun James Faleke for his significant contributions to empowering women and youth, as well as his developmental projects in Kogi State.
Chief Fiki gave the commendation in statement he personally signed and made available to Journalists on Tuesday in Lokoja.
The Baale of Amuro noted that despite representing Lagos State in the National Assembly, Hon Faleke had shown tireless commitment in empowering his people back home in Kogi.
Chief Fiki stressed that Hon. Faleke’s tireless efforts to empower women and youth through initiatives that promote economic independence, education, and skill development, had been truly remarkable.
“Rt Hon Faleke’s commitment to creating opportunities for his people back home in Kogi, and the marginalized communities to thrive is inspiring, and his work on developmental projects has transformed countless lives.
“He has been wonderful especially in the area of taking poverty out of our people, and empowering them to be self reliant.
“This year alone, I have witnessed three of his empowerment programs: distribution of Grinding machines, Motor bikes, Cars, Agricultural equipment, Cash donations and now ICT materials,” Fiki said.
He added: “Hon Faleke is also building Palaces of Obaro of Kabba, Olujumu of Ijumu, Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde, Akinrin of Ekinrin Adde.
“Constructing roads from Kabba to Ogidi, Kabba to Bunu, Kabba to Ayere, Road in Iyamoye, road in Egbeda, Bore holes, Solar Power Lights etc. Yet,vhe represents Lagos
“Asides all these, Rt Hon Faleke has also assisted in facilitating employments and appointments for many of our people. What a service to one’s root!
“This is highly commendable! I pray that God will continue to guide and protect you in your political endeavours”.
Chief Fiki, however appealed to the federal Lawmaker to extend the gesture to the people of Yagba Land in Mopamuro, Yagba West and Yagba East Local Government Areas.
“Thank you, Rt Hon. Faleke for your unwavering commitment to empowering our people in Kogi. Your work has made a lasting impact, and we are forever grateful,” he stated.
