Sen. Bello Otaru Abduljafar, popularly known as the CEO of JCasuals, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency in Kogi State under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the aspirant who owns one of the biggest fashion brands in Abuja said his decision was driven by a strong desire to bring accountable leadership, sustainable development, economic opportunities, and people-oriented governance to the constituency.
“I am pleased to formally declare my aspiration to serve the people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives. My vision is built on accountable leadership, sustainable development, economic opportunities, and people-oriented governance,” he stated.

Abduljafar, who enjoys significant youth support, pledged to work with the people to create meaningful change in the constituency. He ended his declaration with the slogan “LEADERSHIP DUNITY” and “I DEY OK!”
The entry of the young entrepreneur and politician into the race is expected to add vibrancy to the contest for the Adavi/Okehi seat, as political activities ahead of 2027 continue to gather momentum in Kogi State.
