Bello, Ododo Expresses Grief Over Passing of Former Dekina Council Leader, Hadiza

The former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden and tragic demise of former Dekina Legislative Council leader, Rt Hon Hadiza Sani.

Describing her passing as profoundly devastating and painful, Bello highlighted Hadiza’s remarkable qualities, including her pragmatism, unwavering commitment, and dedicated service to the society and All Progressives Congress (APC) political party in the state.

In a heartfelt tribute, Bello emphasized Hadiza’s significant contributions to the party’s cause during his tenure as governor, acknowledging her steadfast support and progressive activism. He fondly recalled the enduring impact of her presence, which has left an indelible mark on his heart and the State’s collective memory.

Offering condolences to the grieving family, the former governor urged them to draw strength from the sincerity, trustworthiness, and exemplary life led by the departed.

He encouraged them to find solace in the cherished memories and values that Hadiza imparted to all who knew her.

Yahaya Bello extended his prayers to Allah, beseeching for the eternal repose of the departed soul and asking for divine grace upon the bereaved family to endure this irreparable loss with fortitude and resilience.

In the same vein, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed shock over the Hon Hadiza’s death.

In a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, Governor Ododo described the late Dekina Local Government lawmaker as a true Kogite and a loyal party woman who worked very hard for the victory of the All Progressives Congress throughout the last election cycle in the state.

“I am deeply saddened by the death of Hon. Adiza Sani Yusuf, the former Council Leader of Dekina Local Government Area Legislative Council.

“She was a true Kogite and a committed party woman who worked very hard for our party to emerge victorious in all the elections in the state,” Governor Ododo said.

Governor Ododo commiserated with the people of Dekina Local Government and the All Progressives Congress in the state over the sad loss of the late lawmaker.

The Governor prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Hon.Adiza and for the almighty Allah to grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The late Hon. Adiza, popularly known as Tallest Adiza, was born in October 1986 and died at the age 38.
