The Amana Kakanda Muye, Alhaji Abdulquadri Mohammadu Maigari charged his subjects to be worthy ambassadors anywhere they find themselves as they strive to make ends meet legitimately.
He stated this at Papinda Hotel, Lokoja, Kogi State, venue of the reception held in his honour, as he visited the Maigari of Lokoja on Sunday, 23rd June.
The Amana Kakanda Muye, who is the 30th to ascend the throne was overwhelmed with the reception organised in his honour by the indigenous people of Muye in Lokoja who have excelled in their various fields of endeavour.
He enjoined his subjects to live in peace and harmony and also remember to come and develop their ancestral home. According to him ” There are lands available for anyone of you interested in doing businesses of any kind and building houses for your families and even for other purposes”. Adding that “Muye is developing fast and so will require your investment to make it grow faster”.
The Coordinator of Muye Indigenous People in Lokoja who is the Sarkin Yaki of Muye, Hon. Mustapha Allahdey earlier in his welcome address appreciated God’s grace in the life of the new Amana Kakanda Muye and thanked men and women of goodwill that ensured a smooth and crisis-free transition.
He congratulated the Amana Kakanda Muye while assuring him of the loyalty of the Muye Indigenous People.
Several speakers who spoke at the well attended reception, including the Marafa of Muye, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dirisu, the Muye Indigenous People youth leader, Mall. Yakubu Zubairu Idatsu, the women leader etc spoke glowingly of the 30th Amana Kakanda Muye and promises to be of good behaviour to make him proud. They prayed for him to succeed and even surpass the records he met on ground.
