The chairman governing council of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency (KGSHIA), Alhaji Abubakar Babamaaji has applauded the executive secretary of the agency, Dr. Aledare Adekunle for laying a solid foundation for the agency.
Babamaaji bared his mind during the maiden meeting of the governing council board with the management staff held at the agency’s headquarters along Bishop road Lokoja.
According to the board chairman, who doubles as the permanent secretary of the ministry of health said since the inauguration of the agency in July 2020, the executive secretary has been carrying out his assignment diligently.
He urged the executive secretary to be steadfast in his job as enrolment of beneficiaries of the insurance scheme would soon commence.
He thanked Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and the commissioner of health, Dr Haruna Audu Saka for their good decision in appointing Dr. Aledare as the pioneer executive secretary of the agency.
On his part, the executive secretary of the agency, Dr. Aledare Adekunle said he was glad to host the maiden meeting of the governing council board of the agency. He thanked the members of the board for sparing their time to attend the meeting.
Dr Aledare told members of the board that since the inauguration of the agency in July, the management has continue to work assiduously. He also told them that all the staff members have been working hard to ensure the agency moves forward.
