A House of Representatives aspirant for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Suleiman Siraj on Thursday boycotted the party’s primary election alleging hijack of the process and lack of level playing field.

He raised alarm that the materials for the primary election were allegedly diverted to a hotel in Lokoja instead of bringing them to Adogo, the headquarters of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency where the primary election was billed to be conducted Thursday, saying the move was meant to install one of the aspirants.

According to him, the primary election materials were allegedly hijacked using some Federal SARS operatives deployed from Abuja by a serving senator from Kogi Central, whom he alleged, has vested interest in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency election.

The aspirant while urging his supporters to remain calm, called on the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to ensure the right thing was done by creating a level playing ground for all aspirants.
