Mrs Kemi Olorunshagba, a native of Iluke Bunu in Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi state, is currently on admission living on oxygen life support machine in Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja,

Olorunshagba is battling with chronic kidney disease which doctors said requires serial dialysis – every two days – for now. Each dialysis session cost N50,000.

Speaking with our reporter, a family member, Adebayo Titilayo said the patient had undergone several dialysis sessions.

She said the family is currently out of fund, as all hope is not lost.

“The family appeals for financial support from all indigenes of Bunu, philanthropist, NGOs and other health survival schemes.

“No amount is too small. Public updates will also be provided regards the amount raised for this cause.
None of us shall witness this. We pray that this shall pass(Amen),” she said.
