Engr. Mohamed Ahovi Yusuf has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election for Adavi-Okehi Federal Constituency in Kogi state.
The primary election held across the 22 wards in the federal constituency.
Following the collation of results Engr. Yusuf secured a total of 24,958 votes to emerge winner of the primary election. Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Adinoyi polled 155 votes, while Hon. M.I. Onimisi secured 109 votes.
Announcing the results at the Okehi Local Government Secretariat, Obangede, the official Collation Centre for Adavi-Okehi Federal Constituency, the Returning Officer for the primary election, Hon. Lawal Adoziogu, formally declared Engr. Mohamed Ahovi Yusuf as the duly elected APC candidate for the House of Representatives, Adavi-Okehi Federal Constituency, for the 2027 general elections.
