APC Campaigns: Okene Administrator Charge Supporters to Prepare for Poll

The Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has expressed his appreciation to Okene contingent who he has described as loyal and committed members of the ruling party.

Speaking with reporters at the confluence stadium in Lokoja, venue of the grand finale of APC gubernatorial campaign, the Council Administrator stated that the road networks, Okene water works project, security, health care, women and youth empowerment as well as other developmental projects executed in Kogi Central by Governor Yahaya Bello are more than enough evidence to secure another mandate from the people of the district.

Hon. Abdulrazaq urged his supporters not to rest on the records of their campaign successes but re-energise themselves and ensure they crown their efforts with massive votes for Gov. Yahaya Bello come November 16, 2019.

“Having toured the 21 Local Governments of the state and come to the end of a successful and well organized electioneering campaigns, there’s need to show appreciation to our supporters for a job well done.

“I am confident of victory, the records are so convincing, the people are ready to return the governor back to office, so I have no doubt that, the party (APC) will come victorious,” he said.

On the level of security in the area, the Council boss reiterated government’s commitment to peace and safety of the people at all time. He assured all eligible voters, local and international observers, the media, residents of Okene Local Government and indeed the whole of Kogi Central  that the district will be peaceful during and after the election.

“The government will never compromise the security of lives and property, just as the Presidential, National and State Assembly elections were conducted peacefully in the area, the November 16 governorship election will be more peaceful.”
