A pressure youth group and sociopolitical organisation has proposed a campaign movement for the reelection of the honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh  Rabiu.
The group delegation which came under the auspice of “Youth Vanguard” was led by its president Prince Bawa Hamza on an intent and budgetary proposal to the honorable in Ankpa during the weekend stressing that they are not only non partisan but ready to move, walk and work with the bearing of the distinguished honorable.
While delivering the mission statement, the group secretary, Mallam Ibrahim Haruna pointed out that the move was informed by the unprecedented stewardship of Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu at improving the political awareness and development of his constituency against the old order in the past three years.
“When a public officer performs excellent, there is never a need to replace him as far as he is eligible to re contest. If not for anything, we have had several representatives in the past but nobody is a match to Hon Rabiu and so, it is with joy that we are declaring our resolution to spearhead your campaign.” the group scribe asserted.
On his part, Comrade Adamu Tahir who is an erstwhile coordinator of the Honorable member at Enjema Ward I in a visibly joyous mood opined that Hon Rabiu Alfa’s emergence is the best thing to have happened to the people of the area in the present political dispensation and he shall not be battered for even a valley of gold.
In his response, Hon Rabiu Alfa gave an emotional vote of thanks wherein he reminisced his age long aspiration before victory dawned on him in 2015. Further thanking them, the lawmaker expressed his gratitude to the group for the solidarity which he described as an act of patriotism promising never to compromise the interest of the area.
