Congratulatory message to Hon. Ahmed Mohammed on winning the state house of assembly rerun election to represent the good people of Ankpa 1 constituency.
Dear Hon. Ahmed Mohammed,
On behalf of the youths, and affiliated youth organizations in Ankpa local government, we congratulate you sir for being elected to represent the people of Ankpa local government and your constituency, Ankpa 1.
The great Nnamdi Azikiwe once wrote that “history will continue to vindicate the just”. Your victory at the polls, with votes from across the length and breadth of Ankpa LGA bears witness to the acceptance of not just the youths, but also your ideology of justice, fair play, transparency, acceptability and love of our people.
As the dust settles from the single-most competitive election in the history of Ankpa local government, having battled through the election petition tribunal and the court of appeal, it is most important to say that you have set a precedent which will have positive implications for democracy and legislation in Kogi State.
Dear Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, the journey has just begun. Thousands of youths have put their trust in you. You represent the hope of a new generation and you cannot afford to fail them. You must make a promise of change to our young people, to create jobs opportunity, sponsor bills at the house that has positive bearings and improve citizens’ welfare. We will stand behind you to ensure you succeed just like we did during these elections.
The youths of Ankpa LGA have voted for you, and it is our hope that you must become the leader of not just the PDP and some section of people, but for everybody, including the people who did not vote for you.
Congratulations once more.
