Ankpa: Rabiu Alfa Visits Erosion Site, Assures of Government Intervention

Fortune came the way of Emabu community on Saturday, 20th October, 2018 as the honourable member representing Ankpa II constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu responded to a distress call by the community over erosion menace ravaging some parts of the community.
Hon Rabiu Alfa upon arriving the community paid homage on to the “Gago”(community leader), Chief Audu Odidi and thereafter moved to the erosion site for physical assessment where he expressed optimism that the area shall be alleviated via government’s intervention stressing that as a lawmaker, he is primarily elected to serve as an intermediary between the government and the people.
Pained by the sorry state of the surrounding settlers, the honorable member promised a donation of one hundred thousand naira for temporal control as he went further to intimate the local government administrator and commissioner from the district, Hon Mohammed Ibrahim and Hon Senusi Usman respectively.
The honorable member further decried the state of the erosion which he described as a natural occurrence that cannot be blamed on any individual save that heads be put together for and enduring and lasting solution.
Earlier, while welcoming Hon Rabiu, the Onu Emabu eulogised his rapid response virtue which he described as uncommon of a public servant urging him to keep it up as he above all prayed God to remain his footage in every expertise promising him of the community’s unrivalled support to his political endeavors.
Highlight of the on spot assessment was a vote of thanks by Mr Joseph Adama who also used the medium to present a formal letter of community soliciting the honourable member’s assistance on behalf of the community.
