Andas Lauds Buhari for Appointing Kogi Indigene Federal Commissioner

The Chairman of Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Abdulmalik has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing an indigene of the state, Alhaji Auwalu Aliyu Ohindase as a federal commissioner of the National Assembly Service Commission.

A statement issued in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Samuel Enimola quoted the Chairman as saying that the Commission and “the good people of Kogi  state are highly honoured with the appointment of Alhaji Ohindase as a federal Commissioner to represent North-Central in the Commission.”

According to the Chairman, the appointment is a clear indication of President Buhari’s total confidence in the sons and daughters of the state.

He said further that the President, “as a man of honour and integrity that believes that whoever he appoints to represent a region must be a person of impeccable character that has distinguished himself in all ramifications.

“For reposing such confidence and trust on the son of Kogi state it is highly commendable and the president deserves to be applauded,” he said.

Alhaji Andas advised the appointee to consider himself as the ambassador of the entire North – Central and to, therefore, lead by example.

The Chairman equally congratulated the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the appointment of an indigene of the state to serve in the prestigious post of representing the North-Central in the Commission. He prayed God to give the new federal commissioner the wisdom and divine guidance in his new assignment.
