The Halims Campaign Organisation has in a statement faulted claims of crisis in Ankpa local government chapter of the All Progressives Congress, describing such allegation as a figment of evil machinations.

PRESS STATEMENT BY HALIMS 2019 CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION
Our attention has been drawn to an online publication wherein a malicious, self contradictory, directionless and vague propaganda was raised alleging crisis in Ankpa APC with a further cooked up fallacy against the cordial relationship between the APC standard flag bearer for Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims and His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Whereas such report which does not only lack basis but emanated from the pit of hell deserves no dignity of response, a rejoinder becomes necessary subsequent upon the calls, messages and inquiries coming from the well meaning people, supporters and well wishers of APC and by extension, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims within and outside the federal constituency.
For the avoidance of doubt, the report doesn’t only lack any merit but a piece of confusion in its totality as the inconsistencies in it further reveals it was an ill planned motive geared to distract the wide coverage of Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims and his political family but, we refuse to be deterred.
While it is worthy to note that Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has over the past ten years been responsible for the funding of his campaigns and electioneering, it is also pertinent to note that the allegations of him entering into an agreement with imaginary “indigenous governorship aspirants” is only a tale of the height, consequence, frustration and gross product of unprofessional journalism as personified by the publisher of the newspaper to say the least.
That His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the executive governor and leader of the APC in Kogi, his Chief of Staff, Hon Edward David Onoja and other party hierarchies in the state are more preoccupied with how to work round the clock to ensure a sound victory for APC and all its candidate in the forthcoming election, such allegation as “it is not clear whether the people the Governor calls his own are really working for his success” becomes a total lie, evil machination and desperate move premeditated by a bias publisher and already apprehensive pretenders who lack the guts to contest to mislead the unsuspecting public without recourse to proper investigation and deep inquiry as supposed of a credible news medium.
The general public is hereby advised to disregard the publication titled “APC CRISIS DEEPENS IN ANKPA AS GOVERNOR WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FOR HALIMS” as it lacks any substance of truth, reality and sensible rationale save the figment of an untrained journalist, desperate reporters, unbalanced media handlers and bias standard serving as a tool for political pretenders.
Finally, we urge all our supporters, friends and political associates to keep focus in their permutations and awareness campaigns for the victory ahead of as we advise media users and publishers to desist from heating up the polity at this critical time of electioneering. The nation has paid duly to endure pre and post election crisis in times past and we cannot afford going back to such terrible memories again.
