The Executive Secretary of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Dr Adekunle Aledare has charged members of staff of the agency to be well equipped for better productivity.
Dr. Aledare gave the charge while declaring open a training workshop on claims management organised for the department of operational standard and quality assurance held at Good Shepherd Hotel Lokoja on Monday.
The Executive Secretary noted that the agency would continue to focus her attention on the training of staff members adding that it is the only way the agency can perform her activities maximally.
He applauded Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for creating the agency, stressing that the governor’s concern on the health of Kogi people is legendary.
The Executive Secretary also thanked the commissioner of Health, Dr. Haruna Audu Saka for his continued positive role in the take off of the agency.
He maintained that Kogi state is excelling everyday in the provision of quality health to the people of the state.
In her remarks, the head of Operation Standard and Quality Assurance, Dr Yetunde Oyeyemi declared that the agency is prepared for the best in the provision of access to quality health coverage in the state.
She urged the participants to make good use of the workshop in enhancing their capacity.
