The Acting Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State chapter, Comrade Osiako Ezekiel Sunday has commended the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to completing the Ajaokuta Steel Company.
In a press release issued by his office in Lokoja on Monday, the Acting Chairman said “the completion of Ajaokuta Steel Company is a long sought dream of every youth in Kogi State because of the economic potentials of the steel company in creating jobs and improving the economic life of citizens of Kogi State and Nigeria at large”.
The Youth Council Chairman, while speaking on the just concluded Africa-Russia Summit, said the speech of Vice President Kasim Shettima no doubt communicated the political will of the APC led administration of President Tinubu to positively turn the fortune of Nigerians and improving the economy of Nigeria through completion of Ajaokuta Steel Company and revival of Aluminum Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON).
The Chairman said “I call on all Kogites, especially the youths of Kogi State, to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also vote massively for the APC/Ododo-Joel ticket come 11th of November, 2023”.
The Chairman further thanked Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Senator representing the people of Kogi Central senatorial District, Engr. Sadiq Abubakar Ohere for always pushing the right buttons in ensuring the completion of Ajaokuta Steel Company.
