Brother Ahmed Attah,

I inboxed this privately to you but you refused to read it. So I think using this medium you will be able to see it.

With the latest pattern of politics in our state, my pains and tears can only be imagined. Some years ago, we were particularly disturbed about the pattern of politics in Igala and Ebira land and Kogi State. Kogi youths were consistently taught to believe that violence solves all political problems.

Usually, there were many of these youths in Okene, Anyigba and Ejule who posed great danger to our state that time. We watched them terrorised, maimed and killed several of our beloved ones in the name of politics. Our hearts endured the pains and losses and their hearts enjoyed the spoils from politicians.

To Allah alone be the glory, those bad guys were totally grounded into dust by the workings of Allah and were never a threat again until you now resurfaced.

Today, Edward Onoja being the biggest evil that befell Igala land and Kogi State is using you to harass and kill our youngsters in opposition with reckless abandon.

Many people are afraid to tell you the truth but I bet you, the end of this story is not usually funny. If you don’t amend your ways,  Allah is a better schemer.

Whoever you maim or kill today becomes a loan that you or your family must pay sooner or later. Kill them today and their allies will take the revenge tomorrow. No matter how far you go in attempting to crush your opponents, you will always have more of them to still deal with.

If you choose to use violence against others as a tool, you will receive violence too either now or later.

My brother, in the name of Allah (SWT) and his prophet (SAW) desist from being a tool for violence in the hands of Edward Onoja. Which ever way, you will receive much more violence than you ever would have done if you had remained peaceful.

I live in Okene but visit Anyigba and Ejule always, I see how the families of the deceased thugs still hold shame about what happened to their sons and brothers who went the same way you are now toeing.

Say no to violence! Say no to thuggery! Say no to Edward Onoja!

May Allah bless Igala and Ebira land. May Allah bless Kogi State.

Thank you.

Your brother,
– Zuberu Omeiza Ajaokuta
